The CGIAR Regional Program has a long history of successful donor relations. They go back to 1998 when the Program started its work in Central Asia and the Caucasus. Strong and continued donor support has made it possible to achieve considerable results in the past and is critical to reaching long-term strategic goals of sustainable agricultural production, ecosystem resilience and food and nutrition security in the region, benefitting the most vulnerable layers of population.
The Program thanks all its donors for their invaluable support and contribution to its research-for-development efforts in the region. The Program looks forward to many more collaborations in the future.
