Farming with Alternative Pollinators (FAP; Christmann and Aw-Hassan 2012) is a new self-supporting, community-based low-cost measure to simultaneously enhance climate change resilience of agro-ecosystems and income. Improved pollination services due to habitat enhancement in the environment close to crop fields can increase income providing strong incentives for producers’ motivation in habitat improvement. FAP thus realizes the TEEB approach.
